Have you ever pondered questions such as:
What is the meaning of life?
Why am I here?
What is the point of it all anyway?
Do you feel lost? Or unsure of what to do with the rest of your life? Are you confused as to what the specific purpose for your life is?
We all have asked similar questions in our lives. Many of us have stumbled into a ‘deadzone’ where life just doesn’t seem to have a lot of meaning anymore. What ever the condition was that lead you to this point, there is a road, a path that leads to a place that just makes sense for you. But to get there, you may have to really dig into who you are inside, what makes you feel complete and content. Spiritual counselling is designed to awaken this deep sense of awareness within you. A sense of awareness that may have been hidden or disguised, or perhaps has been discouraged from presenting itself because of other’s opinions and suggestions. Uncovering your true self begins with a safe place where you can explore without ridicule, or judgement, without condemnation or suggestive influence. A place where you can just be yourself- whoever that may be.
Spirituality includes a broad range of association. Whether this is with a specific religious affiliation such as Catholic or Baptist, a metaphysical approach, Buddhism, Taoism, Eastern philosophy and mysticism, our spiritual journey is a very personal one and certainly “one size does not fit all”. Whatever choice of spirituality you chose to have in your life, you may reach a point where you feel confused or disconnected from God or Source and just need to re examine where you are and where you would like to be.
As part of my experience I have worked independently and with groups as a spiritual counsellor helping young adults as well as couples with various struggles in Christian as well as other spiritual settings. Developing programs for teaching, providing a weekly meeting place to gather for fellowship, organizing events, counselling etc.
I also have earned a Masters Degree in Metaphysical Science, M.Msc. as well as an advanced degree in Comparative Religion. I hold a Practitioner Diploma as certification to professionally address physical and mental ailments and conditions through the use of spiritual mind treatment. Though I do not claim to heal nor treat physical conditions, my focus is on working with you as a client in a counselling setting to explore options available to you and to help you through your spiritual journey.
